What hurts the most is he emotionally abused me and violently attacked me and then he tells people that I cheated on him.

Sad but I have been thru pretty much every single one of these trials with the stbx also. In order...the most hurtful....
*Silent treatment... *Screaming at me over TRIVIAL things as in not getting the cobwebs down... *Ignoring/mad at me when I was sick *Including the children in on the verbal / emotional abuse *Moving into his own bedroom. I am by no means undesirable and it was cruel I could go on and on.... praying for you all that we can come to a place where we can put all this behind us and have a healthy relationship.

yea i agree with calmzone...i hate how people can screw u over left and right and cause u anxiety, anger, etc etc...but yet when its all over with, you are left to fix it for the better. thast what im struggling with to this day.

really believing if i just tried harder and made myself perfect everything would be alright and he would be happy literally turned myself inside out for years to the point of believing i was a flawed mess....sad to lose my soul even if only for awhile he robbed me of my joy and light heart i became hallow...
