I'm terrified of death. Is there anyone else like me?

your not alone. I think a lot of people are afraid of death. Be it their own death or anything having to do with death. I was afraid of everything death most of my life. 8 years ago my mother died of cancer, she was fairly young. When they sent her home for hospice care, It was my home she came to. She died here in my home, my father and I were with her... all that to say I don't fear death like I use to.
I hope this helps, and welcome to the site hugs bosley

I think i am more comfortable now, because I had no choice but to deal with it head on and straight in the face. I couldn't hide from it, and along with my dad, I was her primary care giver. I couldn't pull away from my mom and hide so I was forced to deal.

I used to fear death, because you are clueless as to where your soul will go. Since I learned death is not a bad thing, my mind became more at ease. I lost a lot of people in my life, and so have a lot of others. So, I can understand the stifling darkness
