Has anyone ever had to deal with a 504 plan? I am thinking about requesting one for my son. I am not sure if it would help or hinder our situation. Our school is purchasing his food at the local grocery store. I don't feel that this is good enough, because he is still hungry after he eats everything on his tray. If the school purchased lopro foods, he could have more to eat. I would like to hear some personal experiences with this if anyone has used it. Not real sure how far I can push the issue. Does this include like an advocate or someone who helps to decide? If it is left up to me and the school to agree on, this will never happen. Is there anyone out there going through similar?
