I recently read the Canada Health Website. It said that only individuals with phenylketonuria could be affected and poisened by aspertame. I am wondering your guys' thoughts about this because I have almost none of the PKU symptoms and in fact have an IQ of 140. The only symptom I seem to show is the fact that I was poisened by aspertame and the fact that I have blond hair (medium by the way) which I probably inherited from my Mom.

" i have told that i had aspertame poisioning . i was just recently put on the diet( in june of 2004) i wasn't diagnosed until i was 8 and because of that late diagnosis i wasn't put on the diet. when diet drinks first came on the scene i drank them like water. when my Phe was tested at the time i was put on the diet my level was 2000!!!!! "
