Hi everyone. I'm new here, joing a support group for the first time. I've been diagnosed (after an endoscopy) with cameron ulcer, gastric erosions (wh/ i believe are same as gastric ulcer), duodenal ulcer and hiatus hernia.
I was diagnosed last year after an ultrasound with the duodenal ulcer. Took omeprazole for 3 mths then they stopped working. I became disheartened, and stopped treatment...now of course, my health has deteriorated. I have been suffering from pain in my stomach, below the breast bone, near my right ribs, and radiating all the way to my entire back. It has been unbearable, and drove me to have the endoscopy done. Anyway, i started on the medication that the doc prescribed. But I'm also taking homeopathic medicine for acidity, and acidophilus bifidus pills (to increase good flora in stomach), cod liver capsules, and 2 other things. One, aloe vera juice to heal sores, and 2nd, i start my day with Ispaghol, which is a husk that becomes like a jelly substance in the stomach and protects from acidity. My parents have been telling me to take it for years but i always refused, because its not easy to take, and its nasty...well, so is the aloe vera...guess it shows what pain will drive us to :-| I hope to also start taking cabbage juice...As you can see, i'm determined to beat this. :-) I wanted to know if anyone has pine nut oil, and if its worked for them?
