Yep, you read correctly. I hope what I have is an ulcer and not something more insidious, like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's Disease.
I started last month with a sour stomach that has degraded to burning pain mostly in my upper abdomen. I've lost a tiny bit a weight, awoken with burning pain and seem to notice a change in my stools. Anyone with a peptic ulcer have similar symptoms? Posted on 10/27/08, 09:10 pm |

The best way I could have described it was I felt like I had heart burn but in my stomach and I did have loose stools. Plus it would feel worse after I would eat. But the only real way you can ever figure it out is to go to the doctor.

my pain started as a pinching in my urq and then turned into a dull heavy ache in my side then waking up with sternum and chest pain when sleeping but at first my doc thought it was my gallbladder so after weeks of testing for that found out it wasn't .
