Hello all, just wondering if anyone out there has had Hpylori? I have recently been diagnosed and on treatment. Prevpac is kicking my butt, it's making me so sick ,Dr. says it's normal because the high amount of antibiotics. I hope this is all it takes two weeks of this is enough for me. I've been in pain for almost a year and I'm ineed of some relief. I'd like to hear from anyone who's experienced this.

hey i got perscribed this stuff too... they said i haad some kind of bacteria in my stool sample im not sure if its the HPylori and i dont think i have any ulcers...this stuff is making me really soar and makes me feel like shit at times...how did it end up working for you?

Well my GI Dr. said I probably took the medicine for no reason. I'm having an endoscopy in the morning hoping to find out what the problem is. I have not felt much better since I took it so it was probably a waste of time. I guess we'll see in the am.

It's hard to say I've been sick for so long that I always felt crappy and still do. I had an endoscopy this morning and found out that I have severe gastritis and I still have the Hpylori even after taking the treatment they say treatment is only been effective in 80% of people.My. Dr. did a byopsy and we will know in a few days how best to treat it. Hope you're doing better!!!

Hi there , I also have been diagnosed with hpylori and it really sucks . I am allergic to prevpac so they put me on tetracycline and flagyl . I stopped taking them after 4 days becuase I was so sick and I have a 9 month old so I couldn't muli task that going in for an endoscopy soon after consultation to discuss the scope and treatment options .. good luck with your treatment .
