I was given Protonix during my hospital stay for gastric ulcers and bleeding. It seemed to help, and I had no side affects with it.

i took protonix too. it works for a while but then you got to get off of it. and figure out more healthy ways to treat your ulcers.

they gave it to me in the hospital--for the ulcer, yes, but also becasue i was on mega doses of antibiotics after surgery and they worried about flora and stuff, but it wasn't continued later on. didn't have any side effects for me but i don't have too much experience with it.
