You can tell the weather is turning colder it maked my joints ache. I love the look of fall but I sure don't like the stiffness in my knees, hips, and hands. Can't tell if it's arthritis or pd. Not to mention the sinuses. Sorry it seems like all I do is complain lately. let's loosen it up.
i like all the people I meet here

they really are saints
they give good advise that is clear
so come and write with us

" Being 41 and a Floridian, when the weather changes even alittle, my pain is deep in my hip. It hurts alot!I assume its related to the disorder. I hope today is a great day for you.

" I have arthritis but not PD, and my joints have been complaining to me for the passed week and it's because our temps have dropped and we have had rain off and on..the pain pills have totally abandoned me!...scoundrels!..ugh...hate Ohio weather from October till May....ugh.
So, I can just imagine what pain is involved with PD and arthritis together.
Sass, I do alot of heating pad nights, have you tried that? I'm sure you have....the other thing that helps is a soak in the hot tub..don't know, maybe that would interfere with the pd meds? Good luck....it's a long way to the June sunshine...xo "

" I have severe pain in my back. I spent the last five weeks in Barbados and the pain was tolerable. As soon as I got back to Canada with the cooler weather I have been in terrible pain and the pain killers aren't doing a thing. Luckily I have found that marijuana brownies help ease the pain and also help me sleep. I always sleep with my heating pad, even in Barbados. My pain is PD related and feels like the muscles around my ribs are crushing me for a lack of a better explanation. I must go back to the hot climate! "
