" MY Doctor prescribed Mirapex for this and it seems to help RLS. Muscle cramping in the feet only resoponds to a higher dose of carbidopa/levodopa. I can tell when my meds are wearing off, my toes draw down and back in such a tight and painful cramping that I cannot walk.

I hope this helps you. "

" Yes, my legs hurt but I take nothing unless it gets severe (800 ibuprophen). My shoulders and reaching with my arms used to be killer until I got on sinemet. Now they are almost perfect. I still can't tell when meds are working or not as I still overdue everything and don't know if it's just plain tiredness. I guess I am too determined and stubborn. "

" I have the same problems. I'm on Senemet for the PD and my Doctor prescribed Skelaxin, a muscle relaxer which has helped some. I also take Leg-A-Trim at bedtime which helps a lot. It's an over the counter med. Best of luck to you Sandman. "
