HI,
I am so happy to have found this group. My son was officialy diagnosed with ADHD/ODD yesterday. I plan on starting the meds as soon as I can see his psch. My friend told me about getting his heart tested. Anyone do this? Posted on 10/28/09, 09:10 am |

The new recommendations are to have an EKG prior to starting stimulant medications. I have not heard of the need for an echocardiogram. Interesting.

I have never done either tests for my son. Should I? Why should you get these tests done?
