Does anyone have their child on Catapres. My son has been on it for three days now, to calm him down at night and go to sleep. It's been great, he's actually going to sleep at 9 - 9.30 instead of 11.30 - 12.00, but for the last 3 nights he has cried himself to sleep for one reason or another. Just wondering if anybody else uses this med and if it can cause some sort of depression or something similar?

" we started on clonidine and it was making him sleepy in the middle of the day because of split dosing so onto the patch which lets him sleep but no longer required to take a nap in the day. Tic are a little worse but not terrible but still undecided if it will help for school. "
