My tempermental, can be difficult, ADHD child== who does not like to sit still, does not like to follow directions, and does not like to do things he is supposed to do -- makes me a MOM ten times over any parent who does not have an ADHD child.
To any parent with an ADHD child-- this day is for you. You earn it every day. God gives special people special children. All of ours are harder to raise, so we must be better parents, I reckon! Posted on 05/09/08, 07:06 pm |

I often wonder why. But then he does something sweat and caring or he gives me a hug and says he loves me. Then I know why God did it. He is worth all the bumpy spots in the road.

I agree with what everyone has said that one hug is worth every hard day and every embarrassing moment!
I was always told God won't put us through anything we can't survive and we will all survive! So every adhd parent out there have the most wonderful mothersday and make sure you sit back and just look at them and really see them it is all worth it every moment so keep smiling even through the bad because there will be the best moments with your child comming up real soon. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

I also consider my daughter to be a special child. She is diagnose to be an add adhd child. At first I don't know what is add adhd all about and how it hit my daughter. But I'm very thankful that she is a special gift that God gave me.
