hey everyone i got the grade on my paper today..and it was a big fat A...i got all the points and i have a 100% in the class...i am so happy...it is so funny how things can go from so black to so great...it gives me hope that i can do anything that i want and i can go so far in life...i just have to work hard at it and but my mind to getting it done...love you all...

I have some personal news that I want to share with all of you.
My wife Alisabeth and I are going to have a baby!
She's just beginning the 14th week of her pregnancy.

I got about 5 hours of work done today in the garage. I was VERY careful to pace myself and not overtax my body to risk a fibro flare. I took lots of breaks and varied what I did so that I didn't have to do heavy lifting or hard work consistently. I broke upp what I did so I had lots of little things and light work to do alot of the time.

Today is indeed a HAPPY NEW YEAR for me and for my beloved partner, Jess!!! At midnight last night (this morning) we reached our one year anniversary of smoke free living!!! Exactly one year ago, Jess and I put down cigarettes and we've not reached for another one since!! YAY!!!

Today has been a good day. I've had no depression or anxiety, which is wonderful! Most of my day has been therapeutic: catching up on piles of family laundry! And hanging out on DS. Mid-afternoon, I showered and dressed for our 100 degree weather here in the mountains, and headed into town to run errands.

Hey, I think I'm actually happy! I mean not depressed...like before group therapy. My glasses are a little rose-colored these days. I mean my back hurts so bad and that is frustrating and yes depressing, but it is not the same. It is no where near the same as before....it is so different. Life is different!
