My son's psychologist advised me to read Delivered from Distraction and have him read it too. I have read it and it's an excellent book ... it has helped me to understand my son in a whole different way. We are in the process of trying to follow some of the recommendations and hope that it helps him (and me!). This book is about ADD adults but I think that it is most comprehensive so far in understanding ADD ~ I recommend it to all!

I have read this too, and found it to be very informative and easy to read (lots of lists!). I want my husband to read it too, but he is so resistant to such things... I felt like the chapter about being married to an ADDer was written about ME!
I agree, it is useful to a parent of an ADDer too (I am married to one and parent to another!).
