Look up paranoid here:
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/p...

See it says "para" means "beyond"

Then it says "noid" translates to "mind"

so, paranoia = "beyond the mind"

Beyond the mind? How is that humanly possible? It isn't.

Now look up "humanoid"...
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/h...

It says "a being having human form"...then look below that and see a picture of a robot.

Look around you and see that most humans do exactly as they are told, just like a robot! Ask a paranoid or schizophrenic person to do something and I promise you they will only do it if they WANT to...they are not a robot nor do they act like one.

Lots of people (doctors especially) try to convince schizophrenics and paranoid people that their thoughts or fears are irrational simply because THEY CAN'T SEE OR HEAR THEM.

But WAIT! You have one person who sees and hears things, then you have another person who CAN see and hear those things PLUS some other things. Which is more valuable? One seems a bit blind to the other, and the other (e.g., a doctor) tries to convince the other that what he or she sees is not real! SAYS WHO???

What does it hurt society if I want to say I have seen or heard things that most people haven't? It doesn't! They could easily dismiss what I say as a lie and move on, but instead they hound us and tell us we are "sick" and "treat" us with expensive medications that have horrible side effects!

I say to hell with these sick doctors! They cause more trouble than they are worth. Every time I take a psychiatric medication, I get a side effect which tends to require an additional medication. At one point I was taking 8 medications!

I will tell you guys this: fear not what things you see or hear or believe. They may be true or there is likely some truth to them.

Your doctors basically spend 15 minutes with you then send you out the door with a piece of paper which you take to a pharmacy to get some pill that will cause you to need another pill. It's a vicious cycle that will never end until you have exhausted every medication that exists.

I seem to have come to this point. No medication will provide me a decent night's rest, so I have to use my own techniques of relaxation. And, I'll tell you it's a little rough to come off the meds, but in the end, maybe I'm better for it. My mind seems more clear and I'm never groggy or fuzzy headed.

Feel alright with your states of mind. It's alright even if it feels bad. Often times the things that feel bad for you are good (exercise, working, etc).

" hi. first, im new in this group.

second, my pdoc, doesnt know im paranoid, cause i hide it. lol.
im not scizophrenic, i think. not diagnosed that is.

but i do know a lot of scizophrenics, and they are on meds because they are scared of what they see and hear and feel.
they have schosen meds on free will, or because of fear, or! manipulation from their doctors.
some people can hurt themselves or others because of "symptoms" . thats why they want, or have to take meds.
if you're not hurting yourself or anyone else, you should have your own choice to take or leave meds.

and,, i do very much believe in "god", you know, the higher power that is also called intuition. but, i also know people, who think they hear god, but in the mean time do a lot of realy crazy stuff, like setting theirselves on fire, things like that.
and i do believe in ghosts too. i know they are real. i feel them, i ve lived with them all my life. i was afraid when i felt their presence.
but they dont control me. they dont make the tv speak to me. and i dont see them(not that noone can see them).
and i also believe in aliens. and ufo's. i even saw ufo's.
but thats real. search the internet. when you think you have thoughts that dont seem plausible. you'll find out if others have had them too. and i do believe in mulptiple dimensions living at the same spot.
but a well tuned mind should be able to filter out his/her dimension.

there is a line between spiritual and paranoid. i didnt believe so either, but later in my childhood i found out. and im not here to discredit you in any way. i've just gone through this with my friend. she has found the line now. she still believes in all kinds of spiritual shizz, but she no longer sets herself on fire because the ghosts tell her to, through the tv.

you dont trust doctors, me neither. but i also dont always trust my own mind. humans arent perfect, and they can interpret thing wrong, which makes a shortcircuit in your head, overloads, and starts doing weird. i have had that. i saw a two meters high shadow of a dog.

and as for doctors.. those people are here because you ask their help.
sometimes because you have to get help.
they only want to help. but they are not extracensory.. they dont know how real it feels.
most doctors are truly insane, if they are a good doctor LOL.!
they themselves have a disturbed way of thinking, that is why they have such a deep insight in human brain. that is not a normal development.
but they can help if it clicks between doc and patient.
and if not, you go find another one.

and i think it is good that you try to live without meds.! hope it works out for you. i stopped taking mine too.
it is more difficult, but atleast its you.

sorry for the long post, but i think too fast;)

((hugs)) "
