I get very paranoid or nervous about certain things, and most don't seem that bad but there is one things that has be actually pretty scared.

If I get too close to my body length mirror in my room I feel like something will appear in (a human shape, like a demon or something) and maybe even grab me. It only seems to be this mirror that makes me feel this way though. Maybe it is because I saw a "shadow" in it before (just a mild hallucination).

What do you guys think?

" My daughter has a thing about mirrors. She is not paranoid like me but now I am thinking maybe she is a little bit.
Did you ever have any dreams about this that is coming to consciousness in your mind when awake? Sounds like that shadow you saw is being blown out of proportion, have you told a doctor about this or anybody you can trust?
Hope this goes away for you "

" I definitely think that your hallucination could be making this fear. I know that sometimes you can't help but feel that way, but every time you get this fear, try to rationalize it (sometimes it feels so impossible, but definitely worth trying). Tell yourself: There is nothing in the mirror, just a reflection. The mirror is a solid object, and nothing can go in or out of it. It is just made out of glass and a thin layer of reflective material. It is an inanimate object. I know I am scared of it, but there is nothing there that will hurt me.
It will take time, but you can convince yourself that you will be okay. :)
Do you see a psychiatrist or psychologist? "
