Today i found out my dr. no longer is willing to want to see me as a patient. And will not give me a reason why, The whole clinic will no longer see me. i have many Doctors in that clinic. Its really fustrating because i have done nothing wrong. im a para that deals with lots of health issues and am on a lot of medications. from bladder meds to pain pills. this isnt the first clinic that has done this to me in th last 4 years 4 clinicks have done this to me, and gave me no reason why. i dont know what to do im so worried that im gonna run out of meds and not have a dr to go to for medical help. What are some suggestions, i think they should have to give me a reason why, how can a doctor just up and say o i cant see you no more and then just cuz that dr dont want to see me in the clinic i cant see none of them is this legal or not?

" Ask for a copy of your file. It is usually written in there. I had one doc who decided I was putting on all my aches & pains. He thought I should see him as psych & neuro. My psych was so mad, he got him fired.

They may make you pay for the copies. If it goes to another doc, it is free. "

" Yes he can legally refuse to see you as a patient. A physician is a tradesperson like any other and can choose his clients. Now if he saw you on the street and you were inured and required immediate attention, that would be a different thing, but he can bar you from his practice. "

" dadon...many spasms (even arterial) are helped by magnesium citrate 500mg-1000mg daily (citrate form more absorbable) a good multi-mineral with it helps so there isn't an mineral inbalance created...taking 1/2 the dose before bedtime helps absorption too, Magnesium is one of America's biggest dietary deficiencys ,,There is also magnesium OIL that helps people to absorb more of it that you apply topically,,,follow direction,,maybe this could be rubbed into the area where your spasms are each night,,,Do not exceed the 1000mg oral dose daily,,,it sometimes takes several months to see cell levels reach optimum,,,,Do a google search - there's a DR.her name starts with a D I believe - a foremost expert in magnesium you could email her & ask about the magnesium OIL if you can't find it in a GOOD health store....
Also i had an idea about an INVERSION TABLE for your pain,,,i've given an excerp from FAQ section on a site for victims that are suing for their injurys...you could call physical therapy at a better center and ask about inversion tables,,,you'd have to get 2 male friends to help you with this each day --- haven't heard about para specifically but many many people with severe pain say this daily traction to keep those muscles un-cramped is the only relief they get,,,,,you could email or contact "teeters hang-ups" (google search)and get advice,,,ALS PATIENTS- lou gherricks disease are greatly helped with physical therapy ---the trick is to be able to get it or have oood friends (be real nice) who will help you with therapy you could learn ---one last thing--- there was a dr Becker who ran a pain clinic for years --he's on the TV --his show YOUR HEALTH -- if you get thru to his show he sends care packages worth a couple hundred of very good quality supplements to supplement your health ---he owns fields of NONI in hawaii now --got into it because he says his patients got pain relief equal to many pain meds without side effects--you have to take a certain amount and it can take 2 months sometimes to start to see results--he says many Noni's on the market are wattered down or processed too much to RETAIN the effective components in the noni---his company on the web is BIOINNOVATIONS.COM ---i am a 5 yr viewer of his show & am in NO WAY associated with him...... keep trying ....do more google searches & don't give up or let the Dr.s get you down.......

" You aught to see a neurologist that specializes in "AUTONOMIC" issues... you have multiple issues going on and it's all effecting your autonomic nerve system. There are several topics in the neuropathy group that has "Autonomic" in the subject line... Also, there is another topic that will help you find a Dr. that specializes in this. Otherwise, you may need to call several others within your network to find one.

" I've had crap happen to me from a "clinic" like yours I'm sure...when we're on medicare and/or MediCal we usually end up at these clinics and they operate like a zoo..they seem to be way too conservative, except they have no problem writing scripts to give us all the drugs they think we want, when what we want is to find out what is wrong with us and get it fixed, half the time..some of us are falling through the cracks of the medical society,,,I suggest that you write a very nonthreatening letter to the Director of Doctors and Nurses at that clinic...just call and ask who this is and get their address and explain to them your experiences in the past and what's going on right now and tell them you desperately need to know what is going on,,,because they can't make you drug dependent and then just drop you cold turkey with no other Dr to take over your care. Right now is not the time to lay down and cry, but instead, muster up ALL the strength you have to get that letter to that person asap so they can get to the bottom of it and get you a Dr back...you should not be seeing more than 1 Dr anyway..I don't understand what they are doing there...but that's wrong,.,,a person cannot be changing Drs when they are on narcotics because it makes them look bad, like they are shopping for drugs...so I've stayed with the same Dr and suffered beyond belief...I think I'm dealing with "medical negligence" myself...I wish you all the best..keep us informed ok? ;You have my support and prayers...lil "
