" they are both prozac type meds, they make you feel worse for 2 to 6 weeks then hopefully make you feel better, valium helps with early side effects

the CR version helps with any stomach problems otherwise its not worth paying more for it, IMO "

" I take paxil and i like it. You have to take alot less than they recommend and you will be fine. If you take too much you will feel nervous and edgy.

I only take 10 mg every other day not every day and that works for me.

Debbie write to me anytime. I like paxil better than zoloft or prozac i hate.
ok good luck "

" i used to take zoloft and now I am on paxil so we're on the same boat. It took maybe 3 weeks to get used to paxil but after that I have felt great! It makes you feel like a normal person again. I have been taking it for 3 months now and it has slowly stopped working for me. I start to have heavy anxiety attacks. I think I just need to increase the dosage. "

" Would you guys mind telling me why you switched from Zoloft? I am just starting Zoloft, I've been on it for about two weeks, and am just wondering if it worked for you. "

" I hear Zoloft is safe enough to even take during pregnancy if needed. At least that is what my psychiatrist told me. "

" when you start a SSRI like Paxil, then for the first couple of weeks you feel these symptoms of anxiety, agitation etc but later these side effects of the drug settle down.It is important that the dosage of the drug be increased in increments of 10mg per week. For the control of anxiety caused by Paxil or any other SSRI ,Xanax(Alprazolam) can be used during the initial period of therapy. " So it seems like you guys like paxil better than zoloft? I am on zoloft and not sure how well it is working. I have been on it about 5 weeks and have had less attacks but just feel weak and fatigued all the time.My dr mentioned lexapro to switch too i heard this medication is a good one but am already started on the zoloft. So anyone have any ideas about going from one med to another? Please anyone that can share any thoughts and ideas....
Jenn "
