Even though this is not my first pregnancy. Its the first that Im having my attacks with. Im scared that when I go in labor that I will have an attack and something will go wrong in some way. With me or my baby. Has anyone went through labor or any stages of pregnancy with these attacks, I could really use the help. Even with post partum.

Actually with all of my pregnancys, amazingly, i may have had one attack. As much as i hate being pregnant, that was the highlight of those nine months. I would suggest breathing exercises. Is you OB allowing you to continue on any of your regulars meds while being pregnant? If not, have you tried Bendryal?

That's a good question. I do not have any children yet. But would like to try this summer. And I've always wondered how it would be giving birth cause I know I would panic or even have an attack while I'm pregnant. You'd think it would put stress on the baby. Can you take meds being pregnant?

I have made it through long, hard, painful labor 4 times, and all of my kids are perfectly healthy. I never took any medication during my pregnancys. I always figured I have suffered so long, whats another 9 months. For some reason I didn't get panic attacks as often when I was pregnant. In fact I think with one of my boys I went thru the whole pregnancy without ever having them. I actually thought I was cured LOL.
I don't want to scare you, but my 3rd son was 10 lbs, and I had alot of trouble with pushing. I had been trying for 2 hours and I started having a panic attack. They were trying to give me the oxygen mask, and I was hypervenolating (sp). The mask kept sticking to my face because of how I was breathing and I kept trying to pull it off with my hand. Once he was born I didn't take him for a couple minutes because I needed to calm down and cool off. I will always regret not holding him right away, but I couldn't breathe. I don't think this will happen to you though, because it didn't happen with my other 3. I would reccoment an epidural, so you can sleep and relax while your in labor. Good luck.
