I started 1yr ago with my panic attacks,
i started getting them symptoms hot flashes,
feeling sick to my stomache and throwing up,
smothering sensations, that sent me runnin outside for fresh air. shaking and feeling like i was going to pass out. i was 8months pregant at the time. dr.s said it was allergies and sinusitis
and bronchotis. This has repeated everyday for
1yr. progressed to 100's of antibotics-now,
they say it has to be panic attacks. back then,
if they figured it out i would've been afraid to take meds. I get killer headaches, constant dizziness and throat tightness like someone is choking me all the time. i never like anyone hands to come close to my throat-now i suffer this everyday all day for 2months now.
i also get blur vision and vision that doesn't seem right, it like looking through a fog all the time. i get occ. ringing in my ear.

" Similar to me - I used to be able to wear necklaces - no more, also no more high collars on my clothes. As soon as I feel any heat its like an attack comes on right away, I stand in front of the a/c or go on the balcony if it's a cold night - so feed up!! I too get the throat tightness, and feel like the air is not getting in - can be terrifying at times - I always thought the blurred vision was that I needed new glasses!!! Maybe I should get my eyes checked!! Hope the night finds you better - thinking of you "

" I've had panic/anxiety disorder for many years. And I've had a whole kaleidoscope of different symptoms. I did have the throat tightness & choking sensation one time about 5 years ago. It drove me crazy, and was keeping me up at night. I ended up going to a ear/nose/throat specialist and he couldn't find anything wrong. After a few months, the severity went away. I've also had periods of time where it was difficulty breathing. Lately, my panic/anxiety is more related to my stomach. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care! "

" Hmmm, When I was 5, my father married a very abusive woman. When I went to live with them, my throat was tight for about a year I think. I remember wondering if I had cancer. After I grew up I figured I had "a lump in my throat" from anxiety. "

" I have all these feelings of what you describe. I am not pretty sure yet if this is bec. of the side effect of steroid I am taking for my lupus disease or really a panic attack.....
there are several time that I feel the air is lacking and there are also time I could hardly breath bec. the air is too much. I don't know........this late days, I got that feeling of ringing in my ear and my back neck always hurt. Does yours too? I hate those feelings you mentioned bec. there's nothing that makes me panic but I got those feelings. It just hit like a lightning and the bad part I will get confused...I mean my brain will not function normally....confusion what to do. "

" Use cool air all the time to stop the "hot flashes" - have never run out in the snow (lol) but have stood on my balcony in the middle of winter in a t-shirt talking to someone on the phone, while I hyperventilated. And I wonder why my neighbour moved out (geez) "

" It feel like a lump grew in my thrat blocking all the air. I hate it. But cool air will calm you down. I use that too. I get in front of my air sometime and let it rush in my face til i cant take no more. Closed in areas make it go off as well. Try to be somewhere with a good air supply. A storage room is a no no for me. Good Luck! "
