Staring at white noise to abort panic attack

My friiend was having what amounted to a panic attack. Staring at white noise, perfectly random tv snow or static puts me in what is a dead ringer for the antianxiety , calming theta brainwave state so I asked her to try it. In 3 minutes i watcher her attack totally disappear and she reported total calm. To get the random static, one must have a tv pre 2005, called analogue, newer than that, digital dont do so, even if the blue screen can be defeated the snow is not random, same for the internet which is digital also. I turn the sound down all the way as its disturbing and merely look at the random black dots jumping around on the white backgrou,d, the static. The effect is so profound on anxiety and calming that it will be obvious to anyone in seconds. Please post your experience should you try it..

" Harry, yes it does help put you to sleep, how did you know that. and Rachel I used to use one of those battery operated tv's myself to take in my car an test for anxiety, nine inch screen, it was about 75 percent as strong as a 19 inch.

My friend Mary has also used it for anxiety short of panic attacks and it worked every time for that too within 3 minutes and a neighbor tried it for the manic phase of manic depression and she came over a few minutes after trying it for 3 minutes and she was completely calm and she had been very manic five minutes before that, and she said later no depressive phase ensued in the coming days, and it always had for her.

" Well Rachel, I dont know why it puts me (us) in a state in all respects that the internet describes as the theta brainwave state, but it does., including an effect on lessening pain, via endorphins the internet said. A woman I know with a chronic bad pain disease kept her analogue tv on for 48 hours straight and she said it cut her pain considerably even though most of the time she wasnt staring straight at it, it was just in her vision, and I can confirm that it works although less well even when its in our peripheral vision. It has a remarkable effect too in stimulating my immunity , crushes my colds completely in like an hour and it also greatly speeds up healing my injuries. Jt never conks out either, meaning no tolerance to it occurs, just as strong after long viewing, all day, as it was the first minute. Day after day. . The white noise random tv snow on an analogue tv includes background energy from the BIg Bang, for what thats worth, the internet says..

" Harry or Rachel or anyone who read this thread, did you try this method for panic attack or does no one have a pre 2005 tv set?

" Glad this works for you. Seems to have the opposite effect on me. I'm also epileptic, though, so certain frequencies, rhythms, pitches, etc. are triggers. "

" Wow, Chelseal, what were you trying to treat when you tried it? WHat became worse? WHat exactly did you do , can you please describe? Was the sound off? How long did you look at the snow? How old was the tv, can you look on the back and see if it says digital or analogue, some of them identify themselves that way.

Thanks, Steve "
