hey annieheart,
I was on effexor for a year or so and stopped that and had awful withdrawal symptoms. My doctor and psycho-pharm doctor told me that I stopped them to quickly. I would see if you can cut the pills in half or do every other day. When I got down to the lowest dose on effexor my psycho-pharm told me to take it every other day then every two days etc. Also, I got this spray called rescue remedy. It's made from bach flowers. I'm almost positive you can order it online. It totally helped and it's not addictive, and will just take the edge off if you get really anxious during the withdrawal. Hope that helps and hope you feel better!

you can't stop all your meds cold turkey like that. You have to taper off slowly. Please call the doctor or even the pharmacist to ask how to do it correctly.
