After 14 years of living with panic disorder and anxiety I found these breathing techniques that have had a profound if not life changing effect on my panic/anxiety in only 2 weeks. I bought the audiobook Breathing: The Master key to self healing form Itunes for $11.95. It helps to be taught the techniques at least for me rather then reading but Dr. Weil's website is great none the less. Not only have I been able to defuse my panic but my memory, sleep and over life is profoundly effected in such a positive way. I can not say enough about how much such a simple thing like this has made perfect sense to me and how easily I've been able to make this a daily part of my life to improve myself. While it may take time, as Dr. Weil says, to see the effects- I have seen them and felt and lived them first hand. If you have panic and anxiety- this will help. It will help you in ways that I can only begin to understand. By the way, breathing and the techniques are free. You just breathe differently then you ever have before.
