"Dr. Claire Weekes is the author of the bestselling "Peace from Nervous Suffering". In addition, Dr. Weekes, best know for pioneering work in the study of nervous illness and anxiety, has lectured at psychiatric hospitals in Britain and has spoken often on radio and television both in Britain and in the U.S.." (Dr. Claire Weekes in now passed on)

The strength to cure yourself is within Dr. Weekes writings. I have read and re-read the book "Hope and Help for Your Nerves" and am well on my way to a full recovery. I know at this point you are willing to try anything to recover, any kind of pills, and see numerous doctors. Please believe me when I say The cure is within YOU. There is no magic pill. GO NOW...buy either of her books. Get started on your recovery. The books are only around $7.00. Good luck on your recovery.

" Just so everyone knows who reads your post--you can also get Claire Weekes books and CDs from your local library. I got the CDs "Hope and Help for your Nerves" because I'm not an avid reader. I listened to the CDs in my car and at home. She is very easy to listen to and makes some very good points from anxiety to agoraphobia. "

" I just started reading "Hope and Help for your Nerves" and I love it. I can't put the book down. I was familiar with her method from another book I had read and had been somewhat practicing her method.(and doing much better!) Now that I have her book I can really put her method into practice and I'm excited. Full recovery here I come! "

" Thank you k9Linda..I have her other CD "Pass through Panic" also. I wasn't able to find any at my local library when I wanted them so I wasn't sure if that was an option for others.

VanillaBean..it's exciting isn't it? Just remember it won't happen overnight so keep practicing and "let time pass". "

" I had the opportunity to put her method into practice just last night at my son's school play. I had to sit in a crowd by myself (my husband couldn't make it) for a half hour before the play started. I sat near the back but not at the very back. I did feel some anxiety going on but I remembered Dr. Weekes method, (face, accept, float and let time pass). I didn't run away, I accepted my symptoms and with time I felt better. It was uncomfortable at the beginning but I got through it. By the end of the play I was thoroughly enjoying it and clapping to the music along with the rest of the audience! "
