HI everyone. I'm part of the Lyme support group and was "happy" to see there was this one also. My Dad was Dx'ed Monday . They told him that it matastized (sp) to his liver and they are going to try to out in a stint to get his liver functioning to give him "months". If it doesn't, its "weeks". We are all tore up over it.

" I know exactly what you are going through. I am sorry for you and your family. Will keep you in my prayers. We find out Monday whether or not my dad's has metastisized or not. On pins and needles until then. Praying for good news. "

" i understand what you are going through. My dads was just in the pancreas but after 1 year and 10 months they decided that he could not take the chemo and radiation anymor ebecause his body couldn't handle it. So now we are on hospice and they said he has less then 2 weeks. "

" I'm so sorry for you, Heather. Hospice is such a blessing and I can't imagine trying to make it without them. But nothing can take away your having to deal with being given two more weeks to cram in the whole rest of your relationship with your dad. The very best to you and your family. I wish we didn't all feel so helpless in the face of this terrible disease. "
