I was just wondering if anyone in this community is currently diagnosed with this. My doctor recently told me that I had this and I really am freaking out. Any advice on what works or anything at all?

I know this is old, but I can't find anything current on others being sx with it. I was just dx with and need at least some comfort...so if anyone out there reads this...please mesage me

I was diagnosed with it a few years ago. I honestly haven't done anything about it because a lot of doctors just use this if they can't diagnose you with something. It's not really a big deal. It hurts when I have sex and use tampons. Do you have any serious problems that occur from it? If so then I would do your research and see about other answers.

You can go to vaginismus.com and order a kit. It was about $100 a few years ago. It came with two books written by Mark and Lisa Carter, a dvd, and 4 or 5 inserts that ranged from as small as a tampon to pretty large.
