My mom is getting a pacemaker/icd. I am not glad she has to get this, but I am glad I can help her with this and let her know what it is all about. This is what I want to do. I want to help others and sort of mentor those who are going through these experiences. Who better than your mom? It is nice to be able to give back to the person who has given to me so much.
