Fun Run for Cancer

It's almost two yrs since my sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage 111C. It's been a tough journey for her enduring the harsh treatment and it's been an emotional strain for her and all our family.

She has recovered thankfully, and is in remission now.
I am so pleased and proud of her especially this weekend as she is doing a 5k Fun Run to raise money for cancer research.
Her daughter and granddaughter are running with her for support.

We're hoping it will be a dry day on Sunday

" Congratulations! It's a hard stage to battle and I'm so glad for your sister! I wish her the best on her Fun Run.
My mom is stage 3c and is having surgery to remove as much as possible on Tues., June 30. Hopefully, she'll be up and running again soon, too1 "

" You're very welcome. The funny thing with cancer, which I've come to despise, is when you tell some people, they say, "Oh! She's not going to make it." and I'm blown away by that! Of course, these people don't know her incredible spirit and will to live, nor the faith we have. Thank you for reminding me that recovery is definitely a possibility. :o) "
