My mother may have ovarian cancer -- never able to get tissue diagnosis given her age and heart condition.

She has terrible nausea. Does that go with OVCA?

Seems she has some type of dysmotility of the bowel (no blockage seen on CT).

any ideas for the nausea....
Compazine -- reacted with high anxiety
Zofran - throat and mouth felt like scalded.
Pheregran -- currently taking this but not much relief
Also tried BDR suppositories but high anxiety.

very sensitive to meds but suffering so much ....wish they could find something to help

" Hi there - my mom is receiving treatment and has nausea, mostly in the mornings. The meds seem to work for her. A friend of mine who is an RN suggested rubbing peppermint oil on her wrist, too...that seems to work for some people. I guess it's the smell. Good luck... it's hard to see your Mom feeling bad, I know! "

" My mother takes two pills for nausea; one is a 12 hour time released and the other can be taken ever six hours on an as needed basis. I will get the names of those drugs, and send them to you tomorrow. "
