does cytoxan make your hair fall out really bad? I don't have to take alot of it, just for a short time. What are the other effects?

I haven't had any experience of this drug and haven't heard of anyone on here who has. I just looked it up on the web. If you google it you will find lots of information about the side effects.
I did read that you lose your hair on it. I lost mine with Taxol last year. I shaved it off when it started to fall out and in many ways it was a liberating experience.. I finished the Taxol last July and I now have a thick mop of curly locks. It wasn't as tough as I thought it would be.. most of these things are more scary to think about than when they actually happen. Do yuo know when you are starting your treatment? Big hug for you xx

Not sure about cytoxan either. But I too lost my hair on Taxol. I was scared in the begining but I had a party to celebrate my hair and embrace my hair loss. It turned out better then I thought it would. Mostly I go bald now some times I wear a scraf but that usally because my head get cold.
