So i am wondering if these are the symptoms..I called my doc to tell her that i have had a period now for 2.5 weeks, on serious birth control that does not have me doing this...very heavy at times, small clots, lots of pelvic cramping, stomach pain, nausea, the opposite of constipated, lost 9 pounds in two weeks and was eating....i am having a really bad feeling about this all....should i be concerned???

You already are concerned about this and rightly so.. None of this means the worst but it is important that you get to the bottom of what the problem is. The likelihood is that this isn't cancer as ovarian cancer is extremely rare and there are other conditions that could cause these symptoms for example, a benign cyst could be responsible.. Tell your doctor of your fears and ask for an ultrasound scan and a CA125 blood test.. Don't be fobbed off as many women are.. We will be here to support you and to encourage you to get the answers you need.. Please keep us informed of what happens.
I will be wishing for the best for you and that this turns out to be something simple to sort out.. Inka.. xxx

If you are nervous when dealing with this sort of thing, as we all are, then it would help to write down exactly what you want to say and also to take someone with you, not just to give you support, but also they could help you to go through what happened and what was said after the appointment. It isn't always easy to take things in. Best of luck to you.. xxx

You should indeed have this checked out. There are other reasons aside from cancer that you are having these symptoms, such as a fibroid, but it is always best to err on the side of caution.
Please keep us posted.
