Okay...so I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last April. There was a basketball size mass on my left ovary, which they removed the entire ovary. On my right ovary, there was a softball size mass...which they also removed. However, he left that ovary so that we could try to have a baby....I went in for my checkup and now have a cyst- they are sure it is a cyst- not a "mass"....BUT- my ovary itself is enlarged. They said it could be due to the fact that I have a cyst- OR it could be the cancer coming back....in which case, he wants to do a full hysterectomy. I'm so scared. I want a baby...not cancer. Chances are that it is probably the cancer again, right? I'm trying to prepare myself for the results of the ultrasound that he scheduled in 5 weeks. I'm strong. I can handle this. Just looking for other opinions. Thanks!

Im sorry you have to go through all of this. Why are you waiting 5 weeks for the ultrasound? That seems too long to wait.

Yes, can they not speed up your scan! I would ask them if I were you. Meanwhile, take care and try not to worry. Easy for me to say I know, but if you possibly can, do things to take your mind off. xxxxx

sorry to hear about this, naybe they can freeze your eggs...I too would ask for an earlier appt.5-months seems to far away. (((hugs)))
