Ok. So I am 23 years old, with no medical insurance. No family to help - Only a daughter and husband I support on my own. Therefore, no extra money for medical expenses. I have been to free clinics and ER's.
I had my daughter 15 months ago, and ever since... I haven't felt right. Anxiety, panic attacks, blurred vision, dizziness, tired ALL the time, headaches...and more specifically to this thread, I have had constant vagional discharge - No doctor can find out what it is. (Haven't had an actually vagional ultrasound since about 2 years) however, have had Pap Smears and been tested for every STD. - I have HPV high risk -But last pap about a year ago - came back normal. Regardless- The vagional discharge is still there -On top of occasional pelvic cramps (like PMS all the time), mild bloating, and for the last 3 consecutive months- spotting between periods. My legs also hurt alot (though I sit all day at my job and had leg pains as a kid).. I have lots nad lots of stress in my life -but what the heck could be causing this? I'm soooooo sick of it! I have no family history of ovarion cancer/ cervical cancer - but still I'm scared because this has been going on for a while and I can't get answers from ER docs/ Free clinics - They're rude to me and push me out the door. Any advice? Posted on 06/11/12, 03:11 pm |

I'm so sorry you are in this situation. Your symptoms aren't the typical for ovarian cancer, but you shouldn't ignore persistent discharge. Does your community have a cancer services agency? Ours does, and they have counselors (free) and can help with payments for treatments. If your community has such an agency, at least they could point you in the right directions for your community's resources. Also, Planned Parenthood may be another option.
All the best to you. You are shouldering a lot.

My symptoms were nothing like text book ones. I was low risk, good PAP tests, no discharge..etc. I think the worst was the fatigue and bloating. Those were key to my pushing the issue and then doctors said I was pregnant because my stomach was so hard and tests were coming positive because my body simulated pregnancy. I'm not sure where you live but I'm thinking not my country because we don't need to worry (thnk God) about free clinics as such. Keep in mind no matter how badly they treat you that you are human and deserve answers and respect. This is your life and you nkow your body best!
