Hi Everyone,
I'm up again not able to sleep and not sure why. This is frustrating! I'm not in pain or anything like that and I have taken all the medicine that they have given me to help me sleep and it isn't working.
The nausea and vomiting from the chemo is better, I'm just having some nausea at times.
The weather has warmed up and almost all of the 18 1/2 inches of snow is gone ...

Today was the first day that I truly realized she's gone. I don't mean to whine...I'm sitting here with a raw nose and puffy eyes as I just had my first meltdown. It has been a long time since I wrote anyone. My ovarian cancer has spread to my rectum and the doctor has given my about a year or two to live. I am currently taking Doxil but she talks about me taking topotecan when the tumor spreads. She is sure this is what will kill me. My rectum will shut down and then I will die. WE were watching America's Got Talent last night and their was a special report about the shooting outside of Pittsburgh. I know the area as we all went to Chuck E. Cheese in Bridgeville with my Aunt who has passed and her neice as well as Nick mom and myself. My hubby knows the area because he passes that way driving. My old boss is living in Bridgeville.

Two weeks ago, I got really down after I saw how my mom was in so much pain...realizing that I really don't know how to deal with this cancer. Looking for answers,
I am 34 and have recently undergone a laporscopic surgery. The finding have shown 4th stage endometriosis and a diseased ovary that is nonfunctional. There is questioning of ovarian cancer. I am the only surviving member of my family due to breast, ovarian,uterine,cervical cancers. This gene has proven to be very aggressive. I went to the Dr Thursday and my CT scan showed that the mass was now surrounded by fluid. The Dr said that this was good. Now the bad news my CA-125 has gone up to over 850. This has me worried as I really thought that this new chemo was working. She is going to give it 4 more weeks and seee if things get better. If not I guess we will change to something else.
