    Sunday, June 1, 2008 | A Positive story

Hello Everyone! WE ARE BACK!! I will tell you ALL about it tomorrow after the boys leave for school and work. Actually we have been back for a little bit, but then we went over my mom and dad's house and we ate over there and gave them our little trinkets we picked up and shared stories of our weekend. • Hard times...regular folks are amazing

    Thursday, September 18, 2008 | A Positive story

As I watch our stock market tumbling I find myself feeling cynical, how did these folks get us IN to this mess!  I then remember one of the the coolest coolest things about my job....THE PEOPLE...I get inspired all over again and I have to think we will all be ok.  When I do talks in schools or community groups I tell kids about the long haul medicine entails&nb...

  • New Attitude

    Tuesday, January 20, 2009 | A Positive story

I have a new attitude about this cancer. I refuse to let it win. I am feeling better and thankful for every day. I have decided that this tumor is a guest in my body and as long as it stays where it is and doesn't get any larger or cause any problems that it can stay. It really isn't a welcome guest but I will tolerate it. If it doesn't like it then it needs to go away. I refuse to le...

  • Today

    Sunday, July 26, 2009

Today...I choose to laugh instead of cry, to forgive instead of hate, to see the good and look past the bad, to be positive instead of negative, to hug someone just because they need it, and to make the most of this gift called Life.  I will play with my children instead of watching tv...and I'll take the time to call my mom and sisters, just to let them know that I'm thinking of the...

  • I HAVE ARRIVED

    Wednesday, August 12, 2009 | A Positive story

I arrived in Atlanta late last night. I saw Mother for the first time this morning, and I am delighted to see how well she looks, despite the fact that she has had four more chemo treatments since I last saw her.
This week Mother will have her 8th chemo treatment and next week she will finish this round at #9! A C.A.T. scan and exam will follow, and then the doctor says he will release her to ret...
