My Mother is an amazing woman. When the oncologist visited her before surgery he told my sister and brother that he had never had patient who exhibited such peace and had no fear. Mother said she was ready for whatever the outcome. She has lived a long and happy life, and recently lost my father, to whom she was married for 63 years. Mother has done really well this second round of chemo! She has not suffered nausea nor has she been exhausted as the first round. We have hit a bump with a low platelet count this time and have had to halt chemo for two weeks. which has been disappointing. When we were driving home from Mother's last chemo treatment, we stopped at a red light and I looked up at the sky and saw a RAINBOW!!!!
