Just looking for support from other moms who are doing the whole patching thing. My son's been patched for 7+months now and he just turned two!

" I was diagnosed with a lazy eye (amblyopia) at age 6 and wore a patch...it simply reversed to the other eye so I then had surgery to help keep the eye straight. I had the surgery again 20 years later and so far it is still pretty straight. It has always been weaker than the other eye but at least its not noticible.
The patch does not always work and sometime both eyes simply wont work together. "
