Visual Snow or Static

Do anybody else have this or any of these symptoms? A good simulator is on this website: http://www.thevisioncommunity.com/

It's like seeing subtle static, especially when looking at something that is dark colored or being in a room that is dimly lit. I also have "sunbursts" when I look at approaching headlights as I drive or "halos" surrounding street lights.

Anybody else have these?

" I wonder if you have been to see an eye dr. yet. my mother developed catarachs and she mentioned seeing starbursts in bright lights... does this happen alot?? I have severe dry eye.. so I get lots of weird stuff like that happening and it for me is triggered from a lack of tears. there are 3 components in tears and and if there is an imbalance in the tears you wont have light penetrate normally through your lenses. I would recommend you get a referal soon, most symptoms become a problem after they have been there for a while, and may have already caused damage. My eye dr. recommended hydrating eye drops and Omega 3's as well as B and D vitamins,
I hope all goes well for you. "

" I've actually had starbursts for as long as I can remember, I didn't know they weren't normal until I came across info about them on a website. The last time my eyes were examined was a few years ago, so I'm thinking I should probably go in. I'll ask about cataracts but I don't think that would have much to do with my visual snow (maybe the starbursts though). Anyways, thanks for the response! "
