before I got into the operating room i had a anixety attack. I kept saying to nurses and doctors that I was a very nervous about have people touching my eye.
The first thing they did was to calm me down. then they preceding to hooked me up to these machines one to monitor my heart, monitoring my blood pressure, the amount of oxgyen in my blood. the iv that i was on before the surgery. I think they slip something in my iv. Doctor Schweninger, my eye doctor. Doctor Palermo, the anaesthetic surgeon who adminster the drugs. Marcello, one of the nurse assistant with the operation. They rub my left upper eyelid with an antiseptic. They put a round object on my eye. Doctor Schweninger gave me eye drops to freeze the eye. The Doctor Schweninger gave me the needle in the corner of my left eye. Then he made an incision where my wart was growing. the wart was 7cm. He cut the wart out and then he plucked it out with a pair of tweezers. I felt the pressure release when he plucked it out. Then he gave me two stitches. I was filling up with anxiety. I couldn't wait to leave the operating room. I was so hungry. i was losing my cool. They wheeled me to the recovery area. I went to the bathroom with the recovery nurse.
then they ask me if i wanted anything to drink or eat. I had a cup of cranberry juice. all i kept saying to the nurse and sister i wanted to go home.
