Hi everyone I am a member of DS but I have joined your group trying to support a friend wh is going through a realy hard time at the moment. My friend was advised to have surgery for exsostes and the surgery all went wrong and he has been left preminanly deaf and falling over even knocked out and nausia both of which he is on medication for. Now thay are saying he needs a labyrinthectomy and understandable he is hesitent to go through with it. Also doees anyone knoe what would make aperson a good candidate for a coclear implant
