I have had an ear infection for almost 5 weeks now and I have had no relief from the pain! I was on zithromax for 5 days, then went on a different antibiotic (Levaquin) for 10 days! After the Levaquin ran out, I still had the infection. My doctor gave me percocet to see if it would help with pain and it didnt!

Now I am on Levaquin for 2 weeks and Vicodin (2 every 4 hours)!!! If they vicodin doesnt take the pain away they will give me morphine but I hope it doesnt go that far!!! Why wont the infection go away...has anyone else had this happen?

" If it were me, I would up my vitamin C and try heating pad on that side to open it up(not too hot). Maybe try some lipoflavinoids(I've never used them). They're supposed to be good for the ears circulation.

I have learned lately that sinusitus can be caused by food allergies.

Just a thought.

Pat "
