Thoughts on ear infections

As a child I had many ear infections and I think I have suffered psychologically into my adult life because of this. Problems that I blame on ear infections are.

1. Fear of hights (beacause I feel I will lose my balance and fall down)
2. A great propensity to motion sickness particularly when younger.
3. A feeling of lack of orientation which unfortunately spilled over into psychological insecurity.

Anybody had similar experiences to mine?
