Ears: Itchy and Wet

Almost every morning, I wake up with wet, itchy ears. It's inside, deep enough to need a q-tip to get relief. My mother always told me never to stick things in my ears, so I went to an ENT doctor. He said to just keep using the q-tips. He also gave me some ear drops but it didnt really help. So after I use the q-tip, they feel dry and less itchy, but a little sore and irritated. Does anyone have this problem or know what it is or how to get rid of it? Thanks

I hadn't paid attention to you having TMJ, but I do want you to try the cortizone cream, its worth a try, hugs
