I developed an ear infection about 13 weeks ago now.
At first i was treated for aotis externa with antibiotics but this didnt work so i then went back to the doctors and was given ear drops which seemed to help but didnt cure the problem. I was refered to Ent specialist who used microsuction ona no of occasions and it seemed to clear up only to return 3 weeks later. The infection had got worse and my ear was draining fluid. i have now beem treated with ffurther ear drops which has helped but i stil get deep stabbing pains in my ear and also pains in my head on the side of thge ear problem that are worse than a normal headache! Along with Vertigo and balance problems. I have now been referred for an MRI Scan and awaiting appointment in a few days time. Posted on 10/30/07, 01:10 pm |
