Hey guys got a question. I think i might have oral herpes. I got drunk at party a 3 days ago and made out with a girl who had oral herpes 3 weeks before that. She was all healed up and didn't have any sores on her face anyway we made out for a long time and now that i realize what i did i'm pretty scared if i have it or not. I haven't felt any different today 3 days later other than my bottom lip feels like its tingling. and i herd thats a sign that i got it. Can anyone help me out. And if i do got it what do i do to help prevent cold sores like what kind of medication

When I have a herpes outbreak, it does start with a tingle. However, the tingling area turns into a painful sore. I don't think that I ever had the tingle that just went away. Just my experience.

How long did it take to turn into a cold sore after the tingle? Because its been like 2 days now and still no sign of a cold sore and my lips feel fine. Do you think the chances of me having it are still good even though i'm not showing any signs?

For me, the tingle turns to cold sore within hours. I think you are going to be ok.
I have been happily married for 14 years. I have my herpes under control, but I have had terrible outbreaks during my marriage. My husband and 2 kids do not kiss me/share drinks while I have a sore. When I am free of sores, we kiss and share drinks/food. After all these years with my husband and kids, NONE of them has been infected as far as we know. That's me experience. I'd say it's slim that you are infected, but not impossible. RELAX!

Ok so its been a week and 2 days and this is what ive seen first i finally noticed like 5 small white dots on the corner of my lips on the inside almost they showed up about a week ago and are really small. They have been that way ever scence not getting bigger not forming into one big one just a bunch of small white bumps on the top of my lip. It doesn't hurt or tingle or bother me at all.
