Can't tell if I am having an outbreak on my chin or not. Seems just like when I get them on my lip but not responding to Abreva. Chin herpes common? I did have a pimple in the same spot a week ago...maybe that could have triggered it? Thanks!

Yes you can get them on your chin you can also get them around your nose.Remember to wash hands if you touch your face near the spot as the spread like wild fire.I have found that putting vinegar or strong perfume(or aftershave) drys them up quite quickly and I also use Valtrex. Good luck with them I know how annoying they can be and it's best to act as soon as you get a tingle or blister. I found a lot of information at

It's easier to spread to someplace that has an open sore, so yes it's possible. I get them in my nose. I know someone that gets them on their hands.
