" Valtrex makes you drowiness. That's all I'm feeling.

I have an eye infection and I don't know if it's working. I am using eye drops for anti-viral infection, so that plays a role. "

" I've been on Valtrex many times, and just stoped taking it. It didn't work. The first time it did, the my body built up immunity to it or something. While on it, I had issues with the sun. It irritaed me, causing headaches. Have had since I stoped taking it. Help taht's helpful. Take it with milk. Don't ever take it with coke. It explodes pretty much. "

" I have been on Valtrex for many years. The only problem that I found with it is that many doctors are giving out the wrong dosage (Canada, I had the same problem until a pharmacist took a closer look and found out that I was overdosing!). You can find the correct dosage for all uses at
http://www.webmd.com by typing in Valtrex under the medication look-up.
I personally love the drug, as when taken at the correct time, you can fully avert a breakout.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. "

" I have only been taking valtrex this last year. It seem to help only if you take it early enough. Which is a problem because most of the time I wake up in the morning with them already coming on, and it's usually too late by then. "

" I've been taking it for 2 years twice a day. I take 2grams when I first have a break out. It worked for me the first couple times and then seemed to stop working. I'm having the worst breakout of my life right now and it does not seem to be helping but I'm afraid to stop taking it for fear of my life being even worse. I went to the doctor today and he said to try Zovirex so after 2 years on V I'm going to try something else. I pray it works. "
