It is when the Optic Nerves in your eyes do not fully develop. It can be caused from being born early, your parents doing drugs when the mother was pregnent. It can be caused by a lot of things. They can do several surgery's to help with the back and forth movement although it does not correct the Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. They have not yet found a cure. I know this because everytime I go to the eye doctor I ask every question I can think of. I have learned so much about this disease. I am very helpful when it comes to (OPN) It is very painful to go through I do know that. If there is anybody who has questions about this disease message me.
