A friend recently suggested that I look into Neurofeedback Therapy (aka EEG Biofeedback Therapy) for my 5 year old daughter w/ ODD. Has anyone done this? I'm wondering about pros and cons??

We did neurofeedback with our daughter when she was 12 years old. She celebrated her 14th birthday yesterday and when I look back on where we were it is like watching a movie of someone else's life. Neurofeedback changed all of our lives. It may not be for everyone and success depends GREATLY on the provider and the family. I would be happy to talk to you further about our experience. I applaud your search for what is best for your daughter!! Hang in there!

Hello,
I am new here and feel very alone and helpless. My son is on Prozac and Risperdal. Nothing seems to work. My husband wants to take him off all his medications. This neurofeedback sounds like it could work. Can you please tell me more about it. Thanks!
